Find below an enormous list of treks, including classical and specially selected ones, with short descriptions. Mind you, any trek can be adjusted according to personal wishes, sometimes combined with others and there are many other possible routes (but how long will this make the list below then, already promising you on the homepage that we wouldn't overload you with information!)

Permits are required for the treks in Chang Thang, Durbuk Range and Nubra.

33.Stok to Stok Kangri Expedition

Best period: June to October
Duration: 4 to 5 days
Short description: Stok Kangri is one of the most beautiful peaks in Ladakh. The climb is technically not difficult, and requires no special mountaineering skills. It gives you a real opportunity to climb a 6150 m mountain in less than a week, which is not possible in any other part of the world. The summit presents one of the most spectacular views of the Saser peak in the Karakoram Range, where the K2 lies.





34. Stok to Matho

Best period: June to October
Duration: 5 days
Short description: Matho Monastery of Leh Ladakh hosts the Matho Nagrang Festival, on an annual basis. The festival takes place on the 14th and 15th day of the first month of the Tibetan calendar. All the monks participate in the sacred dances, performed at this annual event. It is believed that, during Matho Nagrang Festival, two gods, known as the Rongtsan, descend to visit the monastery.

Duration: 5 Days
Short description: This route that Trinetra proposes is a discovery of the high spiritual and mythical places of Ladakh the gompas which they are old or more recent, are of a great beauty, the such interior frescos that they contain or many finely carved statues. The Buddhist sculptures cut in the rock are a little everywhere in the area. Come from North East of Tibet, the Tibetans, settled in Ladakh towards 500 or 600 of our era converted gradually.

38. Likir to Khalse

Best period: January to Beg. of Febuary
Duration: 5 Days
Short description: On this trek there are several villages among the richest in Ladakh. This trekking is known as Sham valley or Apricot valley trek.  Arrive at Likir monastery, where the track to Likir monastery meats in between Saspol – Bazgo, it is hardly an hour walk from the  road.
